ባለዋሽንቱ ዮሐንስ አፈወርቅ

ባለዋሽንቱ ዮሃንስ አፈወርቅ ከዚህ ዓለም በሞት ተለዩ። ተዋናይ ወጋየሁ ንጋቱ ለተረከው የደራሲ ሀዲስ ዓለማየሁ ፍቅር እስከ መቃብር ልብወለድ በተጫወቱት የማጀቢያ ሙዚቃ ተለይተው ይታወቃሉ። ቀብራቸውን በአዲስ አበባ ቅድስት ስላሴ ካቴድራል ለማስፈጸም ጥረት እየተደረገ መሆኑን የኢትዮጵያ የሙዚቃ ባለሙያዎች ማኅበር ፕሬዝዳንት አቶ ዳዊት ይፍሩ ለDW ተናግረዋል። አቶ ዮሃንስ በስተመጨረሻ ሕይወታቸው "በጣም ተጎድተው፤ መነጋገርም ሆነ መንቀሳቀስ አቅቷቸው" እንደነበር አቶ ዳዊት ተናግረዋል።

የሙዚቃ ባለሙያው ከአንድ አመት ገደማ በፊት በሰጡት ቃለ-መጠይቅ "ኢትዮጵያን በተለያዩ የዓለም አገሮች ዞሬ ባህሏን አስተዋውቂያለሁ። ዛሬ እኔ ምንም ነገር የሌለኝ ሰው ነኝ። የኢትዮጵያ ሕዝብ እና ኢትዮጵያ ለእኔ አንድ ቤት ቢሰጡ ይጎዳሉን?" ሲሉ ያሉበትን ኹኔታ አስረድተው ነበር። በቅርበት የሚያውቋቸው በተደጋጋሚም ያገኟቸው የአቶ ዮሃንስ ኑሮ ሳይሻሻል መቆየቱን ያስታውሳሉ።

አቶ ተስፋዬ ለማ ለኅትመት ባበቁት የኢትዮጵያ ሙዚቃ ታሪክ የተሰኘ መጽሐፍ "ትሁት፣ ሙያውን አፍቃሪ እና ተግባቢ" ሲሉ አድንቀዋቸዋል። አቶ ተስፋዬ "የኢትዮጵያ የባህል የሙዚቃ ቡድን በተዘዋወረባቸው ሀገሮች ሁሉ በሙያው ታላቅ አገልግሎት የሰጠ ግሩም ሙዚቀኛ" ሲሉ ስለ አቶ ዮሃንስ ምስክርነታቸውን ሰጥተዋል።
በቀድሞው ጎጃም ክፍለ ሀገር ፍግታ በተባለ ቦታ የተወለዱት ዮሃንስ አፈወርቅ 72 አመታቸው ነበር። በትውልድ ቀያቸው ሸንበቆ ተብሎ የሚጠራውን የሙዚቃ መሳሪያ መጫወት የጀመሩት በእረኝነት ቤተሰቦቻቸውን ሲያገለግሉ
በ1955 ዓ.ም. ከትውልድ ወያቸው ወደ አዲስ አበባ ያቀኑት ዮሃንስ በተለያዩ የኢትዮጵያ ክፍሎች በሚገኙ ጠጅ ቤቶች እየተዘዋወሩ ሙዚቃ ይጫወቱ፤ ያቅራሩ እና ይፎክሩ ይናገሩ ነበር። በሙያቸው በቀድሞው ፖሊስ ኦርኬስትራ ለሁለት አመታት ሰርተዋል። የኦርኬስትራ ኢትዮጵያ እና የሕዝብ ለሕዝብ አባልም ነበሩ።
ጥላሁን ገሠሠ፤ ታምራት ሞላ፤ ተፈራ ካሳ፤ ታደሰ አለሙ፤ ለማ ገብረሕይወት እና ሒሩት በቀለን ከመሳሰሉ ሥመ-ጥር ድምፃውያን ጋር ሰርተዋል። ከቀድሞው ትኩል ባንድ እና ሙላቱ አስታጥቄ ጋር ተጫውተዋል።
ጡረታ ከወጡ በኋላ በአዲስ አበባ ከተማ ካዛንችስ መናኸሪያ አካባቢ በሚገኘው ፈንድቃ የባሕል ቤት ኢትዮ ከለር ከተባለ የሙዚቃ ባንድ ጋር ይጫወቱ ነበር። አሜሪካ፣ ጣልያን እና ፈረንሳይን ጨምሮ በተለያዩ የዓለም አገሮች እየተዘዋወሩ ሙዚቃ ተጫውተዋል።👉🏾 @dwamharicbot

ሻንጋይ ከተማ የ5ጂ የቴሌኮም ኔትወርክን በመጠቀም ቀዳሚ ሆነች ።

#የቻይና ከተማ የሆነችው ሻንጋይ የ5ጂ የቴሌኮም #ኔትወርክ #አገልግሎት በመስጠት በአለም ቀዳሚ መሆኗን አስታወቀች፡፡

#ከተማዋ ይህን አዲስ የቴሌኮም ቴክኖሎጂ ይፋ ያደረገችው በሙከራ ደረጃ ነው ተብሏል፡፡
በዚህም ሂደት #ኔትወርኩ ከተማውን ሙሉ ለሙሉ እንዲሸፍን ለማድረግ ባለፉት #ሶስት ወራት ቴክኖሎጂውን #መሸከም የሚችሉ ጣቢያዎች መተከላቸውን ተነግሯል፡፡

#ይህም አዲስ መሰረተ ልማት ቻይና አሜሪካንና ሌሎች #ሀገሮችን በመቅደም ቀጣዮ ትውልድ የሞባይል #ኮሙኒኬሽን ለመፍጠር ምቹ ሁኔታ እንደሚያመቻች ተመልክቷል፡፡

Be ware of Scribes ። ከጻሀፍት ተጠንቀቁ

And in his teaching he said, “Beware of the scribes, who like to walk around in long robes and like greetings in the marketplaces and have the best seats in the synagogues and the places of honor at feasts, who devour widows’ houses and for a pretense make long prayers. They will receive the greater condemnation.”

And he sat down opposite the treasury and watched the people putting money into the offering box. Many rich people put in large sums. And a poor widow came and put in two small copper coins, which make a penny. And he called his disciples to him and said to them, “Truly, I say to you, this poor widow has put in more than all those who are contributing to the offering box. For they all contributed out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty has put in everything she had, all she had to live on.”

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!

This is very unusual and also very challenging a reading. Two talks of Jesus, which seem to be dealing with totally different issues. Why would they be recorded together? Why do we have them together in our Gospel reading?

I would like to suggest one possibility about what unites them. And it is – they reveal to us God’s perspective on things. Seeing things like Jesus does. They reveal to us something, that we probably wouldn’t notice otherwise.

We will look at the first part, – Jesus’ warning against the scribes, but mostly I would like to focus on the second part, the event involving the poor widow with her tiny offering.

What comes to your mind when you hear: “Beware of the scribes!” Or maybe we first need to translate it to our today’s situation. How would that sound? Any guesses? What about: “Beware of the pastors!”

Sounds unusual, doesn’t it? But this is what Jesus essentially is saying. Of course, our situation is quite different, and probably today pastors don’t have that many opportunities to devour widows’ houses, or to be honoured in marketplaces. But the warning still stands.

People trusted the scribes. They trusted their vocation. They trusted that they are faithful and would teach them the whole council of God. Perhaps they were quite naïve in their trust.

That must be rather shocking a moment to hear Jesus saying: “Beware of them!” Even if our situation is very different, there still are many similarities. Most Christians trust their pastors.

What I have witnessed is that most Christians think highly of pastors. They trust that all pastors are faithful servants of Jesus who faithfully teach the whole council of God. That whatever they preach and practice must be good and right.

We want to trust, and perhaps sometimes we choose to be a bit naïve. Maybe because it is easier. “If pastors teach something, probably that’s how it is”. But is it so? The New Testament if full of warnings.

Jesus in the sermon on the Mount: “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.” (Mat 7:15) Paul: “From among your own selves will arise men speaking twisted things, to draw away the disciples after them.” (Act 20:30)

They have “the appearance of godliness but deny its power.” (2Ti 3:5) Peter: “There will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies.” (2Pe 2:1) John similarly speaks about many anti-Christs who have come out from among us…

The scary thing about all these warnings is that they are not directed to some deceivers out there in the secular world, – they all speak about false teachers among us, in the Church.

And this is profoundly true – Satan doesn’t fight in the world, he fights … in the Church. The world already belongs to him. But if he can lead astray even a single pastor and to make him teach something else than the Bible teaches, then he will likely lead away the whole congregation. It is that simple.

Sure, we want to trust our pastors. We want to believe that they all teach us the whole council of God in truth and purity. But we also need to practice the healthy thing that the people in Berea did: “They received the word with all eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily [!] to see if these things were so.” (Acts 17:11)

It is no secret that there are pastors and entire churches that have rejected the Scriptures as trustworthy message of the Holy Spirit, as the very words of the Triune God. Many have elevated their own reason, or cultural demands above the Scriptures to determine which teachings to retain and which to ignore.

Many teach “different gospel”. And none of them will come saying: “I don’t believe the Scriptures and now I want to deceive you.” No, they come in sheep’s clothing, bringing their destructive teachings secretly. Often being the most charming of all people. Sometimes perhaps doing it even unconsciously.

However, we as Lutheran Christians are in this very privileged situation. We have our Book of Concord, we have the Catechisms, on top of that we have our own Theses of Agreement, they all guide us and help us to evaluate the teachings and the teachers that we hear. Let’s use them.

Jesus Himself has invited us to abide in His Word, for this is what makes us His disciples. And His invitation comes with this wonderful promise, that by doing so we will know the truth, and the truth will set us free.

Don’t take these things lightly, our faith is always under attack. Examine what your pastors teach you, and if you have any doubts, or something is not clear, or you can’t find it in the Bible, come and ask. That is your Christian duty, and joyful one at that.

Returning to the common theme for these two speeches, – seeing things like Jesus. We may look up to our pastors like the most Christian people, but, please, evaluate us in the light of the Word. Help us to remain faithful, that our teaching would come from the Bible, pray for your pastors that we won’t embrace false teachings for that would endanger the whole congregations.

Some people may look important in our eyes but may not be so for Jesus. And some people that may look lowly and insignificant can be of great value to our Lord Jesus. Let’s examine the other story, the offering of the poor widow.

The text tells that Jesus spent quite some time watching people as they put their money in the offering box. What was He looking at? It seems that He was watching the hearts of the people who had brought their offerings.

Some gave really big sums of money. But then came this poor widow, and she put into the offering box two small copper coins. As we will learn later she gave all that she had. All of it.

What would any financial consultant say? What would any reasonable person say? That’s stupid. You don’t give money away if you need it yourself. Why would you give so much that there is nothing left for yourself?

Maybe she just wasn’t too smart? Which clearly thinking person would do that? We know how to be smart. We need to save. And store. And then to insure what we have saved and stored. So that we can be in control of our lives.

But here we have this poor widow. She does the very opposite. Almost certainly she was one of the least important people in her community. No one would notice her. No one would notice her offering. What would be there to notice? Two copper coins…

How could that matter at all?! But suddenly it mattered and mattered greatly. It mattered to Jesus. For He doesn’t look at our appearances, He looks at our hearts. And as He was watching people bringing their donations, suddenly He saw something remarkable.

So remarkable that He calls His disciples. “Come, come here to me, there is something remarkable going on, you need to see this!” Many have given a lot from their abundance, but this widow, she had given more than anyone.

“Truly, I say to you, this poor widow has put in more than all those who are contributing to the offering box. For they all contributed out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty has put in everything she had, all she had to live on.”

It is not hard to give from our abundance, from our surplus when we don’t feel it. And even that is not completely true. We may have superabundance and think that this is all mine, I have worked so hard to get it, and why would I give it to anyone… why?!

But it is much harder to give when you already are lacking. How did this widow do that? And what did Jesus find so remarkable about what she had done? Can you see what she did?

She showed with her actions how powerful the true Christian faith can be. By giving up everything she entrusted herself fully to God’s grace and care. She put her and her life in the hands of her loving Heavenly Father.

This is what the Holy Spirit is capable of doing if only we allow Him to transform our hearts. He creates in us this wonderful faith that trusts that God is our loving Father, this faith that is not afraid to do His will, even if it means letting go control over our lives.

Such faith, true Christian faith has the immense power to transform the world even if it manifests through people whom we may hold as nothing, who are the least in the eyes of this world. Through ordinary people like us.

As we reflect on what the widow did, we may not get it. We may not like it. We may not consider it prudent. But Jesus singled her out from among all the many givers on that day as someone truly remarkable.

Our God can use those who are the least significant and powerless among His children to achieve something grand and magnificent. Ask, how did this poor widow by giving away her two copper coins transform the world?

The poor lady did this little thing. From the depth of her big heart. And Jesus saw it. And then Jesus revealed to His disciples what she had done. And now her self-sacrificial act of faith is recorded in the Gospels.

Now this event has been read, reflected on, and retold again and again already for two thousand years all around the world. What this poor widow did, and we don’t even know her name, I am sure we will learn it one day, on that day…

… but what she did has encouraged and inspired millions and millions of her brothers and sisters in Christ to open their hearts and to follow her example, bursting out in such generosity that seems foolishness in the eyes of this world.

Together with Jesus, she has transformed the world. With two copper coins and very trusting heart. We can’t even imagine what an impact her tiny offering had made for the sake of Gospel. How many have been able to hear the Gospel and to receive the gift of eternal life thanks to her generosity!

Jesus taught us that “when you give … do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.” (Mat 6:3-4)

I have been blessed to be inspired by your quiet, your secret generosity. I have been blessed to find out just a few glimpses of what you have done in secret. And I know that there is so much more, so, so much more of this secret generosity, where no one else, but you know what you right hand has done.

Jesus sees it, and He can use our gifts, and together with Him we too can transform the world. And I know that you don’t do it looking for the reward. For we already have received our reward by being made members of God’s own family. This is just an expression of our gratitude. But still, your Father who sees in secret will reward you. Again.

Remember, Jesus doesn’t look at our appearance. He doesn’t pay attention to people who may seem important and honourable in this world. He doesn’t even look at the size of our donations. He sees our hearts.

I pray today that the Holy Spirit helps us and makes us generous, foolishly generous, so that Jesus could look at our hearts and say: “Truly, truly I say to you, these people have done some remarkable things. Their reward will be great in heavens.”

በመድን ዘርፉ የተደራሽነትና የአዳዲስ አገልግሎቶች ጥያቄ

የኢትዮጵያ የገንዘብ ተቋማት አጠቃላይ አቅም ከሰሃራ በታች አገሮች አንፃር ሲታይ ብዙ እንደሚቀረው ሲነገር ሲተነተን ቆይቷል፡፡ ዘርፉ ለአገር በቀል ኩባንያዎች ብቻ ክፍት በመደረጉ፣ ከውጭ ለሚመጣበት ውድድር ያልተገባ ከለላ እንደተሰጠው የሚከራከሩ አካላት፣ በተደራሽነቱ ረገድም ዝቅተኛ አፈጻጸም የሚታይበት እንደሆነ ይናገራሉ፡፡

የዘርፉ ባለሙዎችም የተደራሽነቱን ውስንነት ይስማሙበታል፡፡ በባንክም ሆነ በኢንሹራንስ ዘርፉ ያሉት የአገልግሎት ዓይነቶች በጣት የሚቆጠሩ መሆናቸውም ውድድር አልባ መሆኑ የፈጠረው የገበያ መዛባት ተጠቃሚው ማግኘት የሚገባውን አገልግሎት አሳጥቶታል፡፡ በመሆኑም ለዘርፉ መሻሻል ብዙ ለውጥ እንደሚያስፈልግ ይመከራል፡፡ ይዘከራል፡፡

የዘርአያቆብ ፍልስፍና ሃቲት

ፈላስፋው ዘርአያቆብ "እስራኤላውያን በእግዝአብሄር የተመረጡ ሕዝቦች ናቸው የሚለውን" የሙሴን መሠረታዊ አስተምህሮን አይስማማበትም ። መናፍቁ እና ጠርጣራው #Heretic Philosopher ፈላስፋው ዘርአያቆብ የሙሴን መሰረታዊ አስተምህሮቶችን ይጠራጠራል ።

ዘርአያቆብ እግዝአብሄር ለአህዛብ ሚስጥሩን መችልም አይገልጥላቸውም የሚለውን በሙሴ የተጻፈውን የመዝሙረ ዳዊትን ጥቅሥ አይስማማበትም ። ይሁን እንጂ ጸሀፊው የካቶሊክ ቄስ ከሆነ ለአይሁድ ባላቸው ጥላቻን ማንጸባረቁ ሊሆን ይችላል ።

በመዠመር ያዘርአያቆብ ማነው ? ትውልዱስ እንፍራንዜ (ጎንደሬ) ወይስ የአክሱሜ ? ወይስ የካቶሊክ ካህን ?  ። ይሄ መታወቅ አለበት። ማንነቱን ማወቅ አስፈላጊ የሆነበት ምክንያት ጸሐፊው ኢትዮጲያዊ ላይሆን ይችላል የሚል ጥርጣሬ ስላለ ነው። 

ፕሮፌሰር ጌታቸው በጻፉት መጽሀፍ እንፍራንዜ ሲያደርጉት ሌሎች በተረጎሙት ደግሞ በወቅቱ በነበረው በካቶሊኮችና ኦርቶዶክሶች የሃይማኖት ውዝግብ ከአክሱም በሃይማኖት ክፍፍል ምክንያት ሸሽቶ ወደ ጎንደር የተሰደደ ትግሬ ያደርጉታል ።
ዲያቆን ዳንኤል ክብረት ስለ ዘርአያቆ ትውልድ ስፍራ የትውልድ ስፍራ የራሱን ሃሳብ ሲገልጽ ፦

" የዘርአ ያእቆብ የዓለም ስሙ ‹ወርቄ› ነው፡፡ ‹ወርቄ፣ ብርቄ፣ ድንቄ› የሚሉ የስም አወጣጦች በአማራው አካባቢ እንጂ በአኩስም አካባቢ የተለመዱ ስሞች አይደሉም፡፡ ኡርቢኖ በደብረ ታቦር አካባቢ ሲኖር የሰማውን ስም መሆን አለበት የተጠቀመው፡፡" ይላል በዳንኤል ክብረት እይታ ዘርአያቆብ የጎንደሬ ስም ነው የተጠቀመው ።

ዲያቆን ዳንኤል ሲጠቅሥ " እንዲያውም ‹እንደዚህ ከሀገር ወደ ሀገር ስሄድ ወደ አኩስም እመለስ ዘንደ አልፈቀድኩም፤ የካህኖቿን ክፋት ዐውቅ ነበርና›(ያሬድ፣25) ይላል፡፡ በዲያቆን ዳንኤል ክብረት እይታ "ዘርአ ያእቆብ በምንም መልኩ አኩስማዊ አይደለም ፡፡ አክሱምን በዚህ መጠን የሚጠላ አኩስማዊም ሊኖር አይችልም፡ በምክንያት የሚያምን ሰው ለዚህ ጥላቻው በቂ ምክንያት አላቀረበም፡፡ ዋና ማዕከላቸውን በአድዋ አድርገው ለነበሩት ካቶሊካውያን አኩስማውያን ቦታ ሊሰጧቸው አልፈቀዱም ነበር፡፡ የካቶሊክ ሚስዮናውያን መሠረት ሊጥሉ የፈለጉት በአኩስም ነበር፡፡ነገር ግን የአኩስም ካህናት አልፈቀዱም፡፡ይህንን ጥላቻ ነው ኡርቢኖ ያንጸባረቀው፡፡" ይላል።

ሌላው አብዛኛው ዘርአያቆብ እሚጠቅሳቸው ጥቅሦች ከመዝሙረ ዳዊት የተወሰዱ መሆናቸው ሌሎቹን የመጽሀፍ ቅዱስ ክፍሎችን በጥልቀት ያውቃል ወይ ሊያስብል ይችላል።

ዘርአ ያእቆብ ሙሴን ሲወቅስ ‹ወሙሴሰ ይቤ ኩሉ ሩካቤ ርኩስ ውእቱ - ሙሴም ሩካቤ ሁሉ ርኩስ ነው አለ› ይላል(215,9a)፡፡ ነቢዩ ሙሴ ራሱ በጋብቻ ጸንቶ የኖረ ነቢይ ነው፡፡ በምን መልኩ ይህንን ሊል አይችልም፡፡ ሙሴ ይህንን ነገር ለመናገሩ መጽሐፋዊም ትውፊታዊም ማስረጃ የለም፡፡ ዘርአ ያዕቆብ ዳዊት ከማወቅ (እርሱንም ሲደበቅ ደጋግሞ በማንበቡ)፣ ሐዲስን ከማንበብ የዘለለ የብሉይ ትምህርት የለውም ይላል ዲያቆን ዳንኤል ክብረት፡፡

ከሙሴ ይልቅ ግን ሐዋርያው ጳውሎስን በዚህ ጉዳይ ቢጠቅሥ ይመረጥ ነበረ ልምን ቢባል ጳውሎስ ከቻላችሁ እንደኔ አታግቡ ማለቱ በመልእክቶቹ የሚታወቅ ሲሆን ሐዋርያውም ራሱ ግን በዚህ ሊወቀስ የሚችል አይደለም ይህን ያለው ራሳቸውን በቅድስና ለሚለዩቱ ቅዱሳን ነው ፥ ምክንያቱም እርሱም ቢሆንም ግን የጋብቻን ክቡርነትንና የትውልድ መቀጠልን ነው ያስተማረው። ጌታ እየሱስም ጭምር "አንድ ሴት ለአንድ ወንድ" ብሎ ነው ያስተማረው። ጋብቻ ከሌለ ትውልድ ሊቀጥል እንደማይችል በጥንት ዘመንም የሚታወቅ ቀላል እውነት መሆኑ ይታወቃል ። ስለዚህ ዘርአያቆብ የቱ ቦታ ላይ ነው ሙሴ ሩካቤ ሁሉ እርኩስ እንዳለ ምንጩን አይጠቅሥም። በሙሴ ግዜ እንደውም እስራኤላውያን ህዝቡም ሆነ ነገስታቱ በርካታ ሚስቶችን ያገቡ ነበረ። ሙሴ ለነገስታቶች በሰጠው ምክር "ንጉሡ ሚስቶችን አያብዛ " የሚል ነው። በሃዲስ ኪዳን በአንድ ስለመወሰን ከመደንገጉ በስተቀር በብሉይ ዘመን ከአንድ በላይ ሚስት ማግባት እንደሚቻል ከብሉይ መጽፍሐት መረዳት ይቻላል ። በሙሴ ህግ የሚመሩት የእስራኤል ነገስታት ከአንድ በላይ ሚስቶችን አግብተው በርካታ ልጆችን እንደወለዱ መጽሐፈ ነገስት ያትታል ። ለምሳሌ።ንጉስ ዳትዊንስ የንጉስ ሰለሞን ልጅ ኢዮርብአም በርካታ ሚስቶች እንደነበሩዋቸው ማንበብ ይቻላል ።

ዘርአያቆብ መዝሙረ ዳዊት ላይ ብቻ ትኩረትን ስላደረገ ከብሔረ ኦሪት አሟልቶ መጥቀስ አልቻለም፡፡ የካቶሊክ ሚስዮናውያን ወደ ኢትዮጵያ ሲመጡ ቤተ ክርስቲያኒቱን የከሰሱበት አንዱ ክስ ‹ኦሪታዊት ናት› የሚል ነው፡፡ ለእነርሱ በንጉሥ ገላውዴዎስ ዘመን የነበሩት ሊቃውንት መልስ ሰጥተዋቸዋል፡፡ ዘርአ ያእቆብ የእነርሱ ወገን ካልሆነ በቀር ሙሴን በዚህ መልኩ አይጠቅሰውም፡፡ ዲያቆን ዳንኤል ክብረት ዘርአያቂብ ማለት ኡርቢኖ የተባለ የካቶሊክ መነኩሴ ነው።

ሌላው ዘርአያቆብ ስለ ንጉሥ ፋሲለደስ ያለው አመለካከት ነው ። "በዐመሉና በደም ማፍሰስ ጸና፣በጎ ላደረጉለት፣ ቤተ መንግሥትንና ያማሩ ቤቶችን ለሠሩለት፣ በጥበብ ነገር ሁሉም መንግሥቱን ላሣመሩለት ፈረንጆችን ጠላቸው› ይላል " ፋሲለደስ ቤቶችን ይወርስ ነበረ ሴቶችን አብሮአቸው ካደረ በሁዋላ ይገድላቸው ነበረ ሲል ንጉስ ፋሲልን ግፈኛ አድርጎ ያቀርበዋል።

በራሱ አንደበት እንዲህ ይላል " ፋሲለደስ ክፉን ነገር የሚሠራ ሆነ፡፡ ሰዎችን ያለ ፍርድ ይገድል ነበር፡፡ አመንዝራነትም ያበዛ ነበር፡፡ ሴቶችንም ከእነርሱ ጋር ካመነዘረ በኋላ ይገድላቸው ነበር፡፡ ዐመጻን የሚያደርጉ ሠራዊትንም ልኮ የድኾችን ሀገሮችና ቤቶች እንዲቀሙ ያደርግ ነበር፡፡

እግዚአብሔር ለክፉዎች ሕዝቦች ክፉውን ንጉሥ ሰጥቷቸው ነበርና፡፡ ስለ ንጉሡና ስለ ሕዝቡም ኃጢአት ረሀብና መቅሰፍት መጣ፡፡ ከረሃብ በኋላም ቸነፈር ሆነ፡፡ ብዙዎችም ሞቱ፡፡ ሌሎችም ፈሩ፡፡" ዘርአያቆብ በወቅቱ ለነበረው ማህበረሰብ በጎ አመለካከት አልነበረውም የህዝቡ ክፋት ፋሲለደስ የተባለ ክፉ ንጉስ እንደሰጣቸው አፍርጎ ነው የተረዳው።

ይሁንና ግን ፋሲለደስ በአጼ ሱስንዮስ ዘመን የነበረውን የሃይማኖት ውዝግብን ያስቆመና ፤ግራኝ አህመድን ወረራ ለመመከት መጥተው ነገር ግን ከግራኝ ሽንፈት በሁዋላ የኦርቶዶክስ እምነትን ወደ ካቶሊክ ለመለወጥ የሞከሩትን ፖርቱጋሎችን ያስወጣ ነው።

Ethiopia Debt Sustainability

የገንዘብ ስርአት ቁጥጥር ሊደረግበት ይገባል። ከለውጡ በፊት በኢትዮፒያ በኢትዮፒያ ልማት ባንክ በኩል ብድር ቢመቻችም ብድሩ ሳይመለስ #npl ማለትም #የማይመለሱ ብድሮች ይፋዊ በሆነው መረጃ #Non_Performing_Loans #NPL ወደ 40 በመቶ ከፍ ቢልም እስከ 70 በመቶ ይደርሳል በዘርፉ ባለሙያዎች ግምት።ለዚህ ምሳሌ እሚሆነው #Aika_Addis የተባለው የ#ቱርክ #ኩባንያ #አይካ_አዲስ በ8 ቢሊየን እዳ እሳቅፈው ሲሄዱ 29 ሚሊየን ዶላር ማሽን ቢያመጣም 150 ሚሊየን ዶላር እንዳመጣ ተደርጎ ብድር ከልማት ባንክ ተለቆለታል ። ይህም።ልማት ባንኩን አክስሮአል ።
አሁን ግን በዚህ አይነት መንገድ በተለይም ግብርና ዘርፍ እንሰማራለን ብለው ከልማት ባንክ ብድር ወስደው ያልከፈሉ በህግ እንደሚጠየቁ የብሄራዊ ባንክ ገዢ ጠቁመዋል ።

አሁን ያለው ለውጥ መደገፍ የምንችለው በኢኮኖሚ ስልት ነው ስራ እድል ለወጣቱ መፈጠር እና ኤክስፖርት #import_Export_Trade #ወጪና_ገቢ_ንግድ መንቀሳቀስ አለበት ፥ ለዚህ ደግሞ መንግስት #ፕላን ማውጣት አለበት። የሀገሪቱ የውጭ ብድርን ጫና የመሸከም አቅም #Debt Sustainability መፈተሽ አለበት።  ከአቅም በላይ ብድርና ክፍያ የውጭ ምንዛሪውን ጠራርጎ እየወሰደው ነው። ሃገሪቱ ብድር ለመክፈል አጠራጣሪ ሁኔታ ውስጥ ልትገባ እንደነበረ ወይም #Default ልታደርግ እንደነበረ የብሄራዊ ባንክ ገዥ ዶ/ር ይናገር ደሴ ጠቆም አድርገዋል በቅርቡ በሰጡት ቃለ ምልልስ።

ህገ_መንግስት ኢንሹራንስ ሰምተው ያውቃሉ

ሕገ መንግሥት ተርጓሚው አካል ከዚህ መሠረታዊ የፍትሕና ርትዕ መርህ በመነሳት፣ ለየትኛውም ወገን ባለማድላት ተጥሰዋል ተብሎ የቀረበለትን የሕገ መንግሥት መርሆዎች ለማፅናትና ለማስከበር ገለልተኛ መሆን ይገባዋል፤ በዚህ መርህ መሠረትም ተርጓሚው አካል እጅግ ወሳኝ ሚና የሚጫወት መሆኑን መገንዘብ አስፈላጊው ነው፡፡

ሌላው ሕገ መንግሥትን ከመተርጎም አንፃር አዲስ ክስተት ወይም ጽንሰ ሐሳብ የሆነው የሕገ መንግሥት ኢንሹራንስ የሚለውንም አስፈላጊነትን ማንሳት ያሻል፡፡ ሕገ መንግሥት ተርጓሚው አካል በተለይ የመድበለ ፓርቲ ሥርዓት በሚከተሉ አገሮች ውስጥ፣ ለተፎካካሪ ፓርቲዎች ዋስትና የሚሰጥ አካል እንደሚሆን ይታወቃል።፡

‹‹የመድበለ ፓርቲ ሥርዓት የሚከተል የፖለቲካ ሥርዓት ውስጥ በዴሞክራሲያዊ ምርጫ ፓርቲዎች ይቀያየራሉ፡፡ ስለሆነም አንድ ፓርቲ ከሥልጣን ከወረደ በኋላ ምንም አድልኦ በሌለበት ሁኔታ በሚቀጥለው ምርጫ የምረጡኝ ቅስቀሳና ዘመቻ አድርጎ ወደ ሥልጣን እንዲመለስ ዋስትና ያስፈልገዋል፡፡

ይህም ለበርካታ ኢትዮጲያውያን የስራ እድልን ሲፈጥር የኢትዮጲያውያን ደራሲዎች በአማርኛ ብቻ ነው እሚጽፉት በአውሮፓውያን ቁዋንቁዋ እንደ ኬንያ ጋና ወይም እንደ ናይጄሪያና ደቡብ አፍሪካ ደራስያን  በእንግሊዝኛ ቁዋንቁዋ ቢጽፉ ኖሮ አለም ኣቀፍ እውቅናን ይጎናጸፉ ነበር ለሚለው ምላሽን የሚሰጥ ነው። ምክንያቱም በርካታ ኣፍሪካውያን የአማርኛ ቁዋንቁዋን እሚማሩ ከሆነ የኢትዮጲያ ቁዋንቁዋ ፥ ስነ-ጽሁፍና ባህል ሰፊ የመተዋወቅ እድልን ያገኛክ።

የአሜሪካና የቻይና የንግድ ጦርነት #Trade war ወደ ገንዘብ ምንዛሪ ጦርነት # Currency war ይቀየራል ተብሎ ተሰግቶአል። ይህ ደግሞ የሌላውን አገር ሆነ ብሎ# የገንዘብ ምንዛሪን ከፍና ዝቅ እንዲል በማድረግ የዝያን ሃገር ገንዘብ #ማክሰርና ዋጋ ማሳጣት ማለት ሲሆን ይህ በትራምፕ የተቀሰቀሰው የንግድ ጦርነት አለምን በተለይም ታዳጊ ሃገራትን ክፉኛ ሊጎዳ ይችላል። እልኽኛው #Stubbourn ግትሩ # ፕሬዝደንት ትራምፕ ገና ከዚህ የባሰ #ማዕቀብን #በቻይና ላይ ለመጣል እየተዘጋጁ ነው።
አሜሪካ ከዚህ ቀደም ባላንጣ ያለቻቸውን ቱርክንና ሩስያን ገንዘብ ምንዛሪን ዋጋ በማሳጣት የስራ አጥ Unemployment rate #ቁጥሩ እንዲጨምር ፥ #ኤክስፖርት እንዲቀንስና ማህበራዊና ፖለቲካዊ ቀውስን እሚያስከትልና መንግስታትን እሚያናጋ ነው። ቻይናም የስራ አጥ ቁጥሩዋ እየወነሰ ሲገኝ ይህን የንግድ #ጦርነትን ተከትሎ ለመጀመርያ ግዜ #በ30 አመታት ውስጥ የኢኮኖሚ #እድገትዋ #ቀንሶአል።

I have been maintaining — and occasionally updating — a list of "Books That Every Leader Should Read" on my old Work Matters' blog since 2011. These are books that have taught me much about people, teams, and organizations — while at the same time — provide useful guidance (if sometimes indirectly) about what it takes to lead well versus badly. This is the 2018 update. I left out many of my favorites — and probably many of yours as well. After all, some 11,000 business books are published in the United States every year.

Many on the list are research based, others tell detailed stories, and only two are quick reads ('Orbiting the Giant Hairball' and 'Parkinson's Law'). That reflects my bias. I lean toward books that have real substance beneath them. This runs counter to the belief in the business book world that people will only buy and read books that are very short and simple — and have just one idea. So, if your kind of business book is 'The One Minute Manager' (which frankly, I like too ... but you can read the whole thing in 20 or 30 minutes), then you probably won't like most of these books.

1. 'The Progress Principle' by Teresa Amabile and Steven Kramer

A masterpiece of evidence-based management — the strongest argument I know that "the big things are the little things."

2. 'Influence' by Robert Cialdini

The classic book about how to persuade people to do things, how to defend against persuasion attempts, and the underlying evidence. I have been using this in class at Stanford for over 25 years, and I have had dozens of students say to me years later "I don't remember much else about your class, but I still use and think about that Cialdini book." I also am impressed with Cialdini's 2016 bestseller, 'Pre-Suasion,' which adds wonderful new evidence-based twists. And while some of the examples in the original book are getting a bit dated, I suggest starting with the classic and then reading the new one.

3. 'Made to Stick' by Chip and Dan Heath

A modern masterpiece, already a classic after just a few years. How to design ideas that people will remember and act on. I still look at it a couple times a month and I buy two or three copies at a time because people are always borrowing it from me. I often tell them to keep it because they rarely give it back anyway. And, for my tastes, it has the best business book cover of all time — the duct tape even looks and feels real.

4. 'Thinking, Fast and Slow' by Daniel Kahneman

Even though the guy won the Nobel Prize, this book is surprisingly readable. A book about how we humans really think, and although it isn't designed to do this, Kahneman also shows how and why so much of the stuff you read in the business press is crap. I also recommend Michael Lewis' 2017 book 'The Undoing Project,' which tells the tale of the complex relationship between Daniel Kahneman and his colleague the late Amos Tversky (who would have shared the Nobel with Kahneman if he had lived).

5. 'Quiet' by Susan Cain

I have long been a fan of this book. The blend of storytelling, Cain's writing voice, and evidence is something to behold. There are three reasons I've moved it to my leadership list. The first is that the influence seems to grow every year; every leader I know now talks about the difference between leading introverts and extroverts. Leaders and future leaders who are introverts now are more confident, and understand better how to blend their style with extroverts. And, from the academic perspective, I believe it is no accident that, since Cain's book was published, there has been a big upswing in research on the virtues and nuances of extroverts — as leaders, group members, romantic partners, and on an on. Second, Cain does an magnificent job of taking down open office designs — which are especially tough in introverts, but undermine productivity, satisfaction, and healthy social interaction for all employees in ways that advocates have denied for decades (despite all the evidence of drawbacks). Cain's book has, I believe, played a substantial role in the current pushback against open offices. Third, and on a more personal level, my wife read 'Quiet' for the first time this year. She is an introvert and has been a successful leader for the past 25 years or so, first at a large law firm, and as CEO of the Girl Scouts of Northern California for the last decade. The book helped her understand why she has been successful and how to fine tune her leadership style depending on whether the staff, adult volunteers, and girls she works with are more introverted or extroverted.

6. 'Orbiting the Giant Hairball' by Gordon MacKenzie

It is hard to explain, sort of like trying to tell a stranger about rock and roll, as the old song goes. But it is one of the two best creativity books ever written, and one of the best business books of any kind — even though it is nearly an anti-business book. Gordon's voice and love creativity and self-expression — and how to make it happen despite the obstacles that unwittingly heartless organizations put in the way — make this book a joy.

7. 'Creativity, Inc.' by Ed Catmull

One of the best business/leadership/organization design books ever written — this and 'Hairball' are a great pair. I wrote a more detailed review of Ed's wonderful book here. As I wrote in my blurb, and this is no B.S., "This is the best book ever written" on what it takes to build a creative organization. It is the best because Catmull's wisdom, modesty, and self-awareness fill every page. He shows how Pixar's greatness results from connecting the specific little things they do (mostly things that anyone can do in any organization) to the big goal that drives everyone in the company: making films that make them feel proud of one another. I read this book from cover to cover again about a month ago — there is so much there as Ed brings in so much of his amazing life and gleans so many lessons about leadership and life.

I confess that I am biased about this book. I have met Ed several times and swayed by his modesty, smarts and how well he listens. The last time we met, Ed told me a great story. He and his editor were having trouble with the flow of the book. So he asked a couple of the Pixar script writers who worked on the film 'Monsters INC' to read the draft and make suggestions. Ed said they spotted the problem right away and came up with a great solution. Ed has resources that other authors don't! That beautiful cover is a Pixar design too.

8. 'Leading Teams' by J. Richard Hackman

When it comes to the topic of groups or teams, there is Hackman and there is everyone else. If you want a light feel good romp that isn't very evidence-based, read 'The Wisdom of Teams.' If want to know how teams really work and what it really takes to build, sustain, and lead them from a man who was immersed in the problem as a researcher, coach, consultant, and designer for over 40 years, this is the book for you. Oh, and if you want the cheat sheet — although you are missing enough that you are mostly cheating yourself — check out Hackman's HBR piece, the very definition of profound simplicity, a lifetime of wisdom and (I am guessing) the results of 1000 studies summarized in six concise points.

9. 'Give and Take' by Adam Grant

Adam is the hottest organizational researcher of his generation. When I read the pre-publication version, I was so blown away by how useful, important, and interesting that 'Give and Take' was that I gave it one of the most enthusiastic blurbs of my life: "'Give and Take' just might be the most important book of this young century. As insightful and entertaining as Malcolm Gladwell at his best, this book has profound implications for how we manage our careers, deal with our friends and relatives, raise our children, and design our institutions. This gem is a joy to read, and it shatters the myth that greed is the path to success." In other words, Adam shows how and why you don't need to be a selfish asshole to succeed in this life. America — and the world — would be a better place if all of us memorized and applied Adam's worldview. I love this book — I give it to Stanford students and executives all the time, especially when they worry aloud that, to get ahead, their only choice is to be a selfish asshole.

10. 'Parkinson’s Law' by C. Northcote Parkinson

You've probably heard of Parkinson's Law, which he first proposed in The Economist in 1955: "It is a commonplace observation that work expands so as to fill the time available for its completion." I had as well, but I never knew much about C. Northcote Parkinson, nor had I read his 1958 gem of the same name (I didn't even know it existed) until Huggy Rao and I started writing 'Scaling Up Excellence' and my well read co-author pointed me to this collection of essays. Parkinson was quite a guy — a scholar of public administration, naval historian, and author of over 60 books. For our scaling book, I was especially taken with his arguments, evidence, and delightfully polite English sarcasm about the negative and predictable effects of group size and administrative bloat. I am also a big fan of 'The Peter Principle,' which is similar in some ways, (I wrote the forward to the 40 Anniversary Edition), but 'Parkinson's Law' is an even better book.

11. 'To Sell is Human' by Dan Pink

You might ask, what does this have to do with management and leadership? Read the book. Dan does a masterful job of showing how, to lead and motivate others, to protect and enhance of the reputations of the people, teams, and organizations we care about, and to have successful careers as well, we all need to be able to sell people our ideas, products, solutions, and yes, ourselves. Dan's ability as a storyteller is what makes this book stand above so many others — his stories are not only compelling, they make evidence-based principles come alive. To be honest, I had not devoted much attention to this book until my wife picked up a copy and read the whole thing from start to finish in about a day. She then spent the next week raving about all the ways Dan's book would help her as CEO of a non-profit — in everything from fundraising, to inspiring employees and volunteers, to dealing with the media, to convincing new prospects to join her organization's board. Then I read it myself. As much as I admire Malcolm Gladwell, I believe that Dan Pink just might be the most skilled writer we have at translating behavioral science research. His stuff is so fun to read, it doesn't distort or exaggerate findings, and he does a masterful job of teaching us how to apply the lessons in his books.

12. 'The Path Between the Seas' by David McCullough

On building the Panama Canal. This is a great story of how creativity happens at a really big scale. It is messy. Things go wrong. People get hurt. But they also triumph and do astounding things. I also like this book because it is the antidote to those who believe that great innovations all come from start-ups and little companies (although there are some wild examples of entrepreneurship in the story — especially the French guy who designs Panama's revolution — including a new flag and declaration of independence as I recall — from his suite in the Waldorf Astoria in New York, and successfully sells the idea to Teddy Roosevelt).

As my Stanford colleague Jim Adamspoints out, the Panama Canal, the Pyramids, and putting a man on moon are just a few examples of great human innovations that were led by governments. If you want to learn about what world class scaling "clusterfug" looks like, read about how the French messed things up — and if you want to learn about skilled scaling (with some horrible side-effects) and the amazing U.S. President Teddy Roosevelt, find the time to read this rather massive masterpiece.

In addition to these twelve, I was tempted to add 'Collaboration' by Morten Hansen, the best book on the topic ever written and 'The Silo Effect' by Gillian Tett, which is stunning analysis of why — once organizations are broken into specialized groups — all sorts of bad things that undermine the greater good, along with some mighty thoughtful ideas about how to overcome these problems and make the best use of such specialized and isolated "stovepipes." And while I removed 'Who Says That Elephants Can't Dance,' by former IBM Lou Gerstner from my top 12 a couple years ago, it remains the best book on the transformation of a large company that I know of — the first half is especially strong.

የእነዚህን ሁለት ትላልቅ በአላት አከባበር በአካል ለመመልከት  እና ከበዓላት ውጭም ውቅር አብያተክርስትያኑትን የህንፃ ጥበብ ለማየት እና ለማድነቅ ብዛት ያለው ምእመን፣ የአገር ውስጥና የውጭ አገር ጐብኝ ወደ ላሊበላ በየአመቱ ይጎርፋል።
